Our core network has an aging install base of the 7100 OTS. After the manufacturer discontinued support we sought out 3rd party support to maintain this product until we were ready to replace it. Before we found Genesis, we tried another 3rd repair vendor however their scrap rate was very high which caused us an operational issue as supply on the secondary market is very tight on some line cards. We started using Genesis in 2023 and are very pleased with the level of service and quality. The repair success rate is much better with Genesis; they understand fiber optical hardware very well.
