December 2007
The company was founded in Mississauga Ontario Canada as Network Regear Ltd.
April 2010
Company expands to the USA, and partners with Sity Communications to form Genesis Telecom Solutions (Formerly Sity Repair).
October 2014
January 2015
April 2018
Expands to Europe with formation of entity and logisics facility in Dublin Ireland.
January 2023
Original founder, Karl Kenny, takes the company 100% under his control and buys out Sity Communications stake from the business.

Our Leadership Team has over 150 years of combined
Industry Experience
With 20 years of experience in telecommunications and a strong focus on fiber optic technology, Karl started his career at CTDI in Canada as a Test Engineer before founding Genesis Telecom Solutions. A Dublin native, he graduated with first-class honors in Electronic Engineering from Technological University Dublin in 2005.
Bill has 40 years of engineering experience in the telecommunications industry. He graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso starting his career as a software engineer at Haliburton before spending over a decade at Alcatel-Lucent. Bill spent 19 years at Wind River before joining Genesis Telecom Solutions.
With over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Libia manages the financial operations and back office functions. Prior to earning her MBA from Texas A&M Commerce, specializing in accounting, she established a successful career in capital equipment and maintenance, serving clients across North America and Latin America.
Ike has over 40 years of experience in the telecommunications industry across a variety of engineering & technical roles. He spent 25 years working at Nortel before joining Genesis Telecom Solutions in 2011.
With 40 years of telecommunications experience, Mike began his career in technical roles at British Telecom before moving to Mitel Corporation in Canada, where he held technical sales and management positions. He later served as Country Manager and VP of Sales at Tellabs Canada before joining Genesis.
Cheryl has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. She holds a degree from the University of Maryland and worked at Nortel for over 20 years before joining Genesis Telecom Solutions in 2014.
